The woman photographed in this article post is the exotic dancer, Crystal Magnum. Magnum is the woman who accused Reade Seligmann, Collin Finnerty, and David Evans of brutally attacking and raping her. Even though she falsely accused the three Duke lacrosse players and caused a dramatic situation for the players and their families, she was not charged of any crimes.

The House Where the Party was held
This photograph is a picture of the house where the party was held on March 13th 2006. During spring break while most student were away from campus the team captains of the lacrosse team decided to throw a party for the team and invite two strippers. The lacrosse players were unsatisfied with the strippers’ performance so they kicked them out and shouted racial slurs to the strippers. Magnum then pressed charges on the three players she claimed raped her while she was at the party.
The Accused
The three men in these pictures were the three lacrosse players Crystal Magnum picked out from the Duke Lacrosse team roster. Prior to her choosing the players from the roster, she gave descriptions of the men based on her memory. The descriptions she gave of the lacrosse players were drastically different from the pictures.
Nifong and the Media
This photograph is of Durham County District Attorney, Mike Nifong. Throughout the Duke Lacrosse case Nifong began to love the attention from the media. His passion for the media drove him to keep pursing the case even though there was such a lack of evidence.
“We are Innocent”
The men in this picture are the three Duke University lacrosse players involved in the Duke Lacrosse Rape Case. Their names are Reade Seligmann, Collin Finnerty, and David Evans. The significance of this picture is that they are the players that Crystal Magnum accused of brutally attacking and raping her.
Nifong Is Disbarred
This photograph features the Durham County District Attorney, Mike Nifong. After the three Lacrosse players were proven innocent, he was disbarred for dishonesty, fraud, deceit and misrepresentation for his actions during the Duke lacrosse case. Nifong was arrested and served a one day sentence in county jail. His prior cases are still under investigation.
